Jeff Daiker, Executive Director, Cummins
Software-defined features are becoming a key differentiator for automotive, industrial automation, energy, and other industries. Cummins is transforming its software development paradigm in order to meet the unique needs of our industry and customers. Our goal is to increase development speed by utilizing AUTOSAR architecture to leverage a wider supplier base for software and tools while focusing on model-based engineering methods that enable simulation-based product development. To achieve this goal, Cummins launched C-SAR as a key change initiative for our future—growing energy diversity, connectivity, and increasing integration. In this talk, hear about the direction and journey of Cummins thus far.
