MATLAB and C/C++: The Perfect Combination for Signal Processing
In the development of digital signal processing algorithms, C/C++ and MATLAB are both widely used. This presentation will reveal how, by combining the usage of these two applications, an astonishing power can be brought to exploring DSP algorithms. Through some examples, we will discuss the following:
- Using C/C++ codes to create a MATLAB signal processing library that conforms to industrial standards
- Integrating MATLAB and C/C++, for usage in wireless communication, video, computer graphics and other fields;
- Connecting with signal testing and other measurement hardware;
- Generating C codes from MATLAB, and publishing in DLL, MEX and EXE file formats.
