Climate Integrated Assessment Models Explorer

The updated Climate Integrated Assessment Models (IAM) Explorer now includes access to updated scenarios from the Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS) and other datasets from the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) energy program database. These scenarios are generated by modelling the macroeconomic impacts of climate change. The IAM Explorer lets you upload and visualize your IAM models. The NGFS scenarios are widely used by central banks and regulators to design climate portfolio stress tests for those they regulate.

This GitHub repository now includes an extensive example of how to apply the scenarios to a portfolio of loans and perform a stress test. Seminal paper authors Stefano Battiston, Irene Monasterolo, and Antoine Mandel helped prepare the example.
