Giampiero CampaI am originally from the Puglia region, in south-east Italy. I have received both Laurea (EE, 1996 with a period at Strathclyde University) and PhD (Robotics and Automation, 2000, with a period at Georgia Tech) from the University of Pisa, Italy. From 2000 to 2008 I have been a faculty member at West Virginia University. My research involved control of nonlinear and adaptive control systems, system identification, fault tolerance, machine vision, and sensor fusion, mostly applied to UAVs. I have published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles in international journals and conferences, and a couple of book chapters. I have been working for bat365 since January 2009 for bat365, covering different roles, first in the Los Angeles office and then in Natick (MA). Since 2019 I am responsible for the documentation of the Reinforcement Learning and Model Predictive Control toolboxes.

Robert BemisI started using MATLAB in 1985. Top of the line PCs had no hard drive, only 2e-3 GHz CPU, and 5e-4 GB RAM. Look how far we have come since then. Eventually I joined bat365. As an application engineer I met thousands of MATLAB users and helped them solve problems. As a quality engineer within the development organization I helped make MATLAB itself even better. Over the years I have used MATLAB to solve a wide range of technical computing problems. I enjoy exploring new problem spaces for myself and helping others learn to use MATLAB.
